Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS)

Is a safe, quick, real-time ultrasound exam performed by Dr. Mahooti during your visit that enables him to see muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and nerves.  He uses it to confirm or establish a diagnosis, and to guide injections with pinpoint accuracy (see “ultrasound guided injections”).
